Dear Joanne,
I would like to thank all the Charnwood hotel staff for the wonderful reception they provided for my daughter & son in law’s wedding. Thank you for calming the fears of an anxious mum om the phone several times and planning the reception. My special thanks also to the young men and women who served the meal, how lovely to be greeted with polite helpfulness and anything we asked for they provided with a smile. Two people stand out for my special thanks, that’s the chef for cooking such a lovely, lovely mela, the size of the yorkshire puddings was the talk of the room, they were huge!
Also the supervisor who guided the whole reception with such precision it all went like clock work. We are so grateful as it made such a difference on our daughter and son – in – laws special day. Thanks once again to you all, we would recommend you to anyone getting married, your professionalism made our day.

Dear Manager & staff at the Charnwood,
We are just writing this letter to thank you all greatly for your involvement in our wedding, You helped to make our day extremely special and memorable.
Your wedding co-ordinator, Joanne, did a fantastic job leading upto the wedding, aiming to make our day personal and smooth. This was much appreciated and I know something that not all hotels offer.
On the actual wedding day, we couldn’t believe the effort that everyone went to. Many of our guests commented on this. A lovely welcome by Jo, followed by an excellent service by Richard who, with all others, worked tremendously hard all day! All waiting staff did a grand job, ensuring all guests were catered for.
Of course all the food was excellent, with guests commenting in particular on the delicious starter and the excellent BBQ at night.
The marquee looked stunning, and despite the rain, we’re so pleased we chose this summer venue, as the lightness of the marquee made it feel like summer.
A day we’ll never forget!
